Beautiful 2 day West Indian Hindu Wedding
Paresh and Adina had an amazing marathon of a wedding. I don’t know how they did it but they sure did it with style. I’m so glad I had the chance to photograph their wedding . This was my first Hindu wedding and it was thrilling. The ceremonies were so beautiful and meaningful. On the second day we spent half our time driving around taking wedding photos all over Toronto, Yonge and Dundas Square, Massey Hall, St Lawrence Market, The Toronto Music Gardens and Cherry Beach just to name a few.

I love this getting ready shot of Adina. I used the wall to create a natural frame around her so there are not distractions and all the focus is on her.
Even though it was pouring rain we found some natural light photos outside the house where they had done a ceremony the previous day. I love the mix of colours in these photos and how much fun Adina had even while the rain was coming down.
Capturing fun wedding photos like this is what it is all about for me. There is so much energy to the day and that is a huge part of what I think we want to be able to look back at and remember.
This awesome DIY getaway car is amazing.
The Hindu ceremony has so much natural beauty. Everything happens very slow and rhythmically and all the symbolism adds so much.
This candid photo was taken when Paresh was marching in. Adina is sneaking a peak from the top floor without anyone noticing.
Paresh and Adina were supposed to keep greeting people at the end but they could not resist running outside to dance with everyone else. It was such an experience. Both families were totally into it and just wanted to celebrate.
After a brief dinner we took the bridal party to take some wedding photos at a local vineyard. It was so nice as we got there just minutes before the sun set. All that warm light in the photos is totally natural!
This is one of my favourite portraits of the day. It has such a classic feel which works really well to highlight ceremonial clothing.
Day 2: Downtown Toronto wedding photography extravaganza!
We went everywhere and did everything on day 2: Yonge and Dundas Square, Massey Hall, St Michaels, St Lawrence Market, and Cherry Beach! It was a bit crazy but totally fun!
