Luxurious Wedding at The Carlu in Downtown Toronto
From the first time Trevor called me to tell me about their wedding and about Natasha I knew I had to be a part of their big day. Usually when a groom reaches out it is a very to the point talk but when Trevor called we talked for nearly an hour. It was amazing to hear about how their relationship had been tested over multiple long distance phases and they were finally able to be together.
They decided to have their wedding at the Carlu because they loved the history of the building and tried to incorporate that into their decor. Natasha and I started out the day at the King Edward Hotel which is one of my favourite places for getting ready. Surrounded by family and her bridal party the room was full of energy.
From there we headed to their church which was greek orthodox. It’s so cool to come into church’s with such ornate architecture and I love what it adds to the photos. From there we headed to Osgoode Hall to take most of their photos. We wanted somewhere that would mirror the architecture of the Carlu but be outdoors.
I love the way Trevor looks at Natasha in every photo they are both so connected to one another and it really come across.
We were so excited to have Natasha and Trevor’s wedding featured on Elegant Wedding. Here is what they had to say…
Natasha and Trevor wanted guests to experience elegance at its finest with a timeless classic wedding theme. Since the venue carries a rich sense of history with early 20th century architecture, plenty of white flowers and gold decor was incorporated to balance it. The result truly was elegant and timeless.
