Boy was this day ever eventful. Paul and Rhea really wanted to do their engagement session at the Bluffs. Earlier that summer Lake Ontario flooded the Island and parts of Toronto. Knowing their engagement session wasn’t till later that summer, I was really hoping we would get lucky. We got there and the shore of the Bluffs had receded and not only did the lake flood part of the paths to get to the bluffs, it also made everything so muddy. I had come prepared wearing rain boots and had an extra pair of shoes just incase, Rhea unfortunately was not as prepared for the treacherous journey that awaited us. I gave her my extra shoes and off we went. We had to take a back route that was so muddy, I really don’t know how we managed to not trip and face plant into the ground.
Through all that, we were laughing and joking around, nothing could dampen their moods.
