In a year of Royal weddings my favourite has to be Maddie and Quintin’s. Maddie’s Disney Princess beauty coupled with Quintin’s suave, intelligent presence was reminiscent of a classic film against the backdrop of The University Club. Married by the glow and warmth of a fireplace, the flames met their match in the passion that Maddie and Quintin hold for each other. The couple entertained their guests with a duet, Maddie’s voice echoing beautifully against the columns of the Library as Quintin, summoning his inner Ryan Gosling, strummed the Ukulele like the indy heartthrob he is. “If you love a soul more than fame and gold, and that soul feels the same about you, it’s a natural fact there’s no turning back.” Congratulations, you two!
